I been using audacity long before I even had kintetic. I use Audacity too, for a long time now.Īnd I didn't quest for another when I haven't tried dropzone yet. And sharing the fact that audacity is free to those who need a free program to do slicing with. As I haven't used the drop zone yet but intend on trying it out soon, and glad you informed me of this drop zone feature. And not implying audacity is better or even comparing it. BTW if you open a new wave, it will open another audacity window. You have to scroll though to see them all. In single row, they go from top to bottom of my screen and much more. As I got a big free package off the site. But this makes it easy to find the right setting of the effect. Audacity opens almost instantly and allows you to preveiw the effect of the plug-in parameter effects on the sample before hitting ok. Some really good ones for enhancing the sound.

Going to start making my own sample waves for K2 soon. My fusion is going to be very useful for Kinetic2. Anyone wanting that program? I Just found a free steinway sound font, and a 73 phodes one too, which are very sweet sound fonts. As I point to another, that one stops and the new pointed to wave plays. Instantly playing each one when I point to it. Making it very useful for finding the right wave I need to find. Great thing about zero-x is when I go to open,search for a wave file and the browser/open window pops up, it will play the wave before I open it just by pointing to it. And finding it manually in the fusion is tough. As the sampler built into the fusion doesn't have auto search for a good loop point. But when looped, it will continue as long as the note is held or the sustain pedal is down. without a sample being looped, when the note is held on the keyboard, it will end when the sample comes to an end. Which I then load into my Alesis fusion synth. Which I bought to help me with finding a seemless loop point in samples. I been using a free program called audacityfor this until I bought a program called zero-x seemless looper 2 weeks ago. Now, the grid, when open,engages your ,qwerty, for triggering the pads,it also contains, performance maps,ya know,like,scale and modes,chords,etc, ,and,velocity, accent settings,transpose ,part selector, and transport functions, so ,like, , i do ,all my recording, (via a midi controller),or my sp-606,with the grid,you hit record ,once, and ,you like, fly through, your tracks,it's basic, it's swift, it's fun,i achieve, like. Whats the difference between the Grid and the Groove Matrix?, in kinetic, it's called, the groovepicker, ya know, you have 4, letters a,b,c,d each, like, um,have 16 grooves, each groove can be triggered and ,recorded,as a,song, ,or, a groove, can be exported,from the groovepicker,
